What to expect
Our beginners' courses are your first step into the world of acting, designed for anyone over 18 looking to explore acting. We keep our class sizes small, ensuring that each of you gets the personalised attention and support you need to develop at your own pace.
We run seven 6-week courses throughout the year, every Thursday evening. These courses are structured flexibly, allowing you to start your acting journey with us at any point in the year.
Each 6-week course delves into a different acting discipline, equipping you with a wide range of essential skills for your acting toolkit.
Don't worry if you're new to this – no previous courses or acting experience is needed! We're here to guide you from the ground up, helping you discover and hone your acting abilities.

Am I too old to start Acting Classes?
No! Our classes have a wide range of ages with a great mix of people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s+!
Everyone has their own reason for joining, whether it being their first step towards a career in acting or a creative and sociable hobby!
I'm feeling a bit nervous, do I need previous experience?
No! We provide a relaxed and safe space for complete beginners and those who might be feeling a bit anxious.
We even have a kitchen, where you can make a cup of tea!
I've always wanted to be an Actor, is this a good place to start?
Many of our beginners students join us with this ambition and then move on to our Actor Accelerator programme, which is the perfect next step towards a career in acting.
How many students are in a class?
The maximum number of students in our classes is 20.
Where are your classes in Swindon based?
We are based in our Studio at the Croft Centre in Old Town (1st Floor).
What do I need to wear and bring with me?
Comfortable clothes you can move in and soft soled shoes. Bring a bottle of water!
